2024 Dawn Fleming Student Scholarship Winner
Zarah CopelandWe are delighted to announce that the 2024 winner of the Dawn Fleming Student Scholarship is Zarah Copeland.
Zarah Copeland, student at University of Melbourne (Burnley) has been awarded our 2024 Dawn Fleming Student Scholarship.
Currently studying her Masters in Urban Horticulture, but also with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) under her belt, Zarah has moved into the world of sustainable urban agriculture.
Zarah’s response was:
“I’m deeply grateful to accept the Dawn Fleming Encouraging Women in Horticulture Student Scholarship for 2024. This opportunity not only recognises my dedication to horticulture but also fuels my passion for fostering food security partnerships with organisations like Foodcube, Australian Ecosystems, OzHarvest and EWHA, catalyzing impactful change in both local communities and broader society”.
