2021 Scholarship Winner
Elaine FiethWe are delighted to announce that the 2021 Winner of the Dawn Fleming Student Scholarship is Elaine Fieth.
Elaine’s passion and enthusiasm for the horticulture industry is outstanding!
Elaine is near to completing Certificate III in Horticulture at Chisholm and has set her sights on further studies in the industry in the future.
For her future in the industry, Elaine puts emphasis on the protection, conservation and cultivation of native and endangered plant species (with a side of landscape design of course!)
When we asked Elaine what the win meant to her, she said:
“Receiving the phone call that I was lucky enough to win the Encouraging Women in Horticulture Scholarship for 2021 honestly still feels surreal. I’m incredibly grateful to EWHA, Dawn Fleming and the wonderful women involved in the judging for the opportunity that this will afford me in furthering my education and career in Horticulture. I can’t wait to start my Diploma of Horticulture and further my studies in areas of interest and this scholarship will contribute greatly towards the cost of making my dream of working in the Horticulture Industry possible. I can’t thank you all enough again for this amazing opportunity and honor.”
